Massage Heights was founded and established in San Antonio, Texas by Wayne & Shane Evans in 2004.

Wayne Evans — Founder
Wayne parlayed his expertise as Regional Supervisor with a national health club into his vision for Massage Heights. From his experience with the fitness industry, he understood the important role massage could play in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. He also knew that a Membership model could be effectively applied to a massage concept as a way to keep services affordable and help sustain growth. By linking those two strategies, Massage Heights created a unique position in the industry. Their first Retreats in San Antonio, Texas became an overnight sensation in 2004.

Shane L. Evans — Chief Operating Officer
One day, Shane went looking for a place that offered convenient, affordable, high quality massages in her area. When she couldn’t find it, she and Wayne were motivated to create it. Since then, Shane’s goal has been to make Massage Heights the number one massage concept in the U.S. To do so, she translates the Massage Heights vision into actionable results, working closely with the Marketing, Training and Operations teams and providing a steady hand to Franchisees as they open their Retreats. Her acumen for business and strategic thinking helps guide her staff, the Franchisees and their employees as they grow.

Glenn M. Franson — President / CEO
Following in his father’s footsteps, Glenn knew he was destined to be an entrepreneur from a very young age. As an adult, he brought this entrepreneurial spirit and ventured into owning multiple businesses in diverse industries, where he continued to hone his business skills such as maximizing efficiency, productivity and profitability. Now, as C.E.O. and President, he brings his vision to Massage Heights as he creates the services, products, technology and training that will help Massage Heights reach its aggressive goals. Like any good entrepreneur, he is always looking toward the future and creating new avenues to keep Massage Heights on the leading edge of the massage industry.
